Horsey Hyde Park

Underground Equations

Whilst drunkenly leaning against a one person signal control box on the platform at Acton Town underground station recently I noticed some scribbles on the back plate.

I looked a little closer, expecting tea or coffee orders, phone numbers, or even some abuse for the next person on shift, but no, what I saw is what I think are equations from Einstein’s theory of general relativity. Or is it special relativity?
